The Ragland’s
Though our ministries may seem different—baseball events and mission trips versus serving as Dean of Women and Intern Care Coordinator at a Bible school in Hungary—they are united by the same heart and purpose. Both are focused on building intentional relationships, creating opportunities to share the gospel, and fostering spiritual growth. The baseball ministry allows us to meet people where they are and those who would never step foot in a church building, using a shared passion for the sport to reflect Christ’s love and share His truth. At the Bible school, we have the privilege of helping young adults deepen their faith and prepare for a life of service and mission. Whether on the field or in the classroom, our shared mission is to disciple, equip, and send others to live boldly for Christ. As a couple, we are committed to doing this ministry together. While we live full-time in Hungary, we will travel back to the U.S.A. for various events and participate in the mission trips to Nicaragua, continuing to serve wherever God leads.

Cody’s Testimony
Finding his identity in Christ.
God blessed me with amazing parents who prioritized church. My dad taught Sunday school and my mom lead the children’s club called “AWANA”. I knew Christian morals and avoided trouble, but my identity was all about fitting in. At my first youth camp, I realized knowing about Jesus wasn’t enough—I needed to surrender. I gave God my everything that summer, and my life changed forever.
I shared the gospel, went on mission trips, and served, but my identity continued drifted back to baseball and friendships at times. I tried to balance my desires with God’s will, but I just could not seem to do it myself. After my baseball career ended and a broken engagement, God showed me that I was trying to do everything in my own strength. Once I let go, He led me into full-time missions through Faith Field, opening doors I never expected.
Now in Hungary, I’ve seen God’s provision and am learning to trust Him completely. I’m growing in leadership, discipleship, and as a husband. This season has been my most challenging yet, but also the most transformative as I walk in obedience.

Becca’s Testimony
God is faithful and trustworthy.
Before Christ I had little understanding of my value and worth. I did not grow up in a household where love was practiced. My dad left when I was little and my family struggled in various ways. I was looking to be seen, known, and loved in multiple things and people that ultimately left me empty. I knew about the name of Jesus but I did not KNOW Jesus personally.
Jesus met me at age 14 when I was in the middle of trying to “figure” out who I was and He revealed Himself to me of who HE IS. Jesus answered a big prayer request of mine that showed me that He is faithful, trustworthy, and good more so than anyone I have ever known. I clearly heard the Gospel and I knew that I wanted Jesus to come into my life and change me. And He did just that and I dedicated my whole life to following Him. I spent two years studying the Bible at the Word of Life Bible school in the states. By studying, I understood that Matthew 28 was not just a call but a command to go for believers. I knew I had to step out in faith and “go” to wherever He called. I did two years in Brazil serving with kids from the streets and through that I developed a love and passion for evangelism and discipleship. Through God’s guidance, He led me to serve with Word of Life in Hungary teaching, sharing, and discipling young people to know, understand, and apply the Word of God. I am able to trace God’s faithfulness in my life and all glory goes to Him!

Hungary: Our Current Home
We are currently living and serving in Hungary, where we are focused on discipleship, evangelism, and providing spiritual care to those in need. Hungary is a country rich in history but marked by spiritual challenges, with many people identifying as religious yet disconnected from a vibrant, personal relationship with Christ. Our heart is to help deepen faith through genuine relationships, building trust and community with those we serve. Looking ahead, we plan to travel to the USA for the upcoming Faith Field events, where we’ll connect with our baseball ministry in Jacksonville, Florida to share the gospel and deepen relationships. We are also preparing for a missions trip to Nicaragua, where we hope to continue serving through evangelism and discipleship with Faith Field Baseball Ministries. Through these opportunities, we want to remain faithful to the call wherever He leads us.
